You can’t force gender on a baby anyways.
The literal only thing a baby knows how to do is sleep, cry, and eat. It can’t even lift up it’s head. He/She doesn’t know any concept of gender like that, nor does the infant care.
If, later in life, the child decides she’s a girl trapped in a boys body, then power to her.
But you need to assign the baby a gender so the baby gets it’s nessacary medical treatment.
When the child is old enough to understand gender concepts, educate her/him.
Young children could care less about gender. I have two younger brothers, both of which are about five years younger. When I painted my nails as a child, they wanted me to paint theirs, and I did.
With this logic, should children not watch Disney movies as kids because they are heteronormative? I watched Disney princess movies regliously and I’m far from hetero.
I’m also not cisgindered, and I didn’t have any trouble figuring that out.
